2021
My team at PRS for Music were integral to the company’s diversity and inclusion programme and created three special editions of M Magazine concentrating on Black History Month, International Women’s Day and Pride. We were subsequently nominated for The Drum Content Marketing Awards 2021 for Diversity and Inclusion.
2021
Completed the Google Analytics 4 certification from Jellyfish to ensure that best practice is followed with the upcoming release of GA4.
2020
I was Product Owner on a Content Strategy implementation project at PRS for Music. We worked in conjunction with our partners at Cognizant / Zone Digital to migrate M Magazine from WordPress into Sitecore. This gave us rich content that added value to the member experience and provide the foundations for a future personalisation strategy. It resulted in a 73% increase in traffic in year one and a nomination for The Drum Content Marketing Awards 2021 for Diversity and Inclusion.
2019
Completed the Google Tag Manager Advanced course from Jellyfish then carried out audit and ensured best practice is followed.
2018
Attended the London App Brewery course on iOS App Development and created a number of apps over the two day course.
2018
Devised new Content and eCommerce strategies for PRS for Music, whilst continuing to manage all digital marketing efforts.
2017
Acted as the primary Product Owner on a project to migrate content, overhaul the IA and redesign the PRS for Music website onto a new Sitecore Platform.
2017
Passed the Sitecore Web Experience Management certification hosted by Sitecore at their offices at St Katharine’s Dock in London. This prepared me for the upcoming website migration project I was working on at PRS for Music.
2016
Launched an eCommerce website and integrated booking tool for Shakti Veda in St John’s Wood, London. The website allowed customers to book online direct, which saved the salon from expensive affiliate costs. It also hooked into a booking and resourcing system in the salon to help plan staff rotas.
2016
Became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) by completing the intensive course run by Radtac.
2015
Launched the website for the Orient restaurant in Chinatown, London. The website was connected to goal based analytics and also employed Pay-Per-Click advertising to illustrate a monthly return on investment.
2014
Launched a website for the Mia Carmen Salon in Suffolk that showcased their list of services to prospective customers who could get in contact directly with the salon via the website.
2014
Achieved Google accreditation for AdWords Professionals. This was a self funded and self taught online course and allowed me to provide AdWords services to businesses.
2014
Refreshed the PRS for Music website in sharepoint in order to optimise the top six journeys accounting for 79% of traffic.
2013
Ran multiple Pay-Per-Click campaigns for Vitavia Garden Products Ltd to drive traffic through to their website.
2012
Became an Adobe Certified Associate in Adobe Photoshop.

Accredited by Hootsuite University to provide expertise in social media marketing.

Restructured the University of Westminster website information architecture over a three month period to increase visits by 36 per cent.

Produced an in-house strategy for Pay-Per-Click advertising for the University of Westminster saving over £10,000 per annum in agency fees.
2011
Concept, product design, ecommerce website and marketing strategy for a stationery brand aimed at the web design community. My product had pixel scales to allow designers to accurately create scamps to scale. The product was featured in Web Designer magazine.
2010
Completed the UX and interface design for the University of Westminster’s first smartphone app which was used by over 7500 students and staff in the first year.
2009
Aided the migration of the University of Westminster website over a six week period from Immediacy CMS to Squiz Matrix

After three years offering services on a freelance basis, I founded Coast Design Ltd. This allowed me to scale up my services from just websites to complete professional branding, website design and digital marketing services. It still concentrated on small businesses but projects would range from eCommerce websites to marketing.
2008
Provided complete branding for Vitavia Ltd to help them launch in the UK over a four week period
2007
Launched a corporate website and intranet for MLM Consulting Engineers serving over 250 staff in multiple locations.
2006
I started to offer my services for small businesses in the Ipswich area under the name Asterion Design. These websites were coded by me but didn’t fully utilise the power of CMSs to allow clients to manage themselves
2006
Studied the City and Guilds Web Design course at Colchester Institute and received a distinction in grades I and II.
2004
Completed Business Information Technology degree at Coventry University and received a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts degree. The course had modules including Human Computer Interaction, eMarketing, Computer Programming and I wrote a dissertation on the effects of the internet on copyright in the music industry.
